
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the CTET 2026 exam will be held on February 8, 2026. The exam will be conducted in offline (pen‑and‑paper) mode across 132 test centers in India. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will take place on the same day.

- विषय-विकल्प: Pedagogy (CDP), SST/समाज विज्ञान, विज्ञान, गणित, भाषा-हेडलाइन (हिंदी/अंग्रेजी), EVS आदि. हर विषय के लिए संक्षिप्त सार, मुख्य तर्क, और एग्जाम-ओरिएंटेड MCQ पोस्ट-अप के साथ PYQ का नमूना दिया गया है.
The CTET February 2026 syllabus covers all the essential topics for Paper 1 (for Classes 1–5) and Paper 2 (for Classes 6–8), designed to assess teaching aptitude and subject competence. CTET 2026 Syllabus Overview
The exam includes two papers:
- Paper 1: For aspiring teachers of Classes 1–5
- Paper 2: For aspiring teachers of Classes 6–8
Each paper has 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) totaling 150 marks, and there is no negative marking.
CTET Paper 1 Syllabus (Classes 1–5)
- Child Development and Pedagogy: Child development, learning and pedagogy, and understanding children with special needs.
- Language I: Comprehension, grammar, verbal ability, and the pedagogy of language development.
- Language II: Comprehension, grammar, verbal ability, and language pedagogy.
- Mathematics: Geometry, numbers, algebra, measurement, data handling, and the pedagogical understanding of these topics.
- Environmental Studies (EVS): Family and friends, food, shelter, water, travel, and environmental education, plus pedagogy.
CTET Paper 2 Syllabus (Classes 6–8)
- Child Development and Pedagogy: Child development of the elementary school child, concepts of inclusive education, and understanding learners with special needs.
- Language I & II: Same as Paper 1; comprehension, verbal ability, and pedagogy.
- Mathematics and Science (for Maths/Science teachers):
- Social Studies/Social Science (for SST teachers):
- History, geography, social and political life, and pedagogy relevant to social science.
