UP Physio Network Foundation Launched Free 3-Month BPT Foundation Course for physiotherapy Students (NGO Initiative)
LUCKNOW— The UP Physio Network Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Sant Kabir Nagar, has launched a significant educational initiative aimed at the next generation of physiotherapists. The foundation is offering a free 3-month Foundation Course for BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) students, primarily targeting those in their 1st and 2nd year of study.
The initiative operates under the motto “Strong Roots Create Skilled Physios” and aligns with the NGO’s broader mission to “Educate. Heal. Transform.”
The comprehensive online program is designed to build a rock-solid conceptual base by focusing on the four pillars of physiotherapy: anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and exercise therapy.
Recognizing the challenges students face in grasping these complex subjects, the course will be led by expert mentors. The foundation has emphasized that the program will feature interactive learning and a focus on “concept simplification” to make the material accessible and engaging. The team of dedicated professionals includes Dr. Adesh Kumar (PT), the foundation’s director, along with Dr. Ojaswi Sahal (PT), Dr. Ayushi Jain (PT), Dr. Aditi Sharma (PT), Dr. Yogitha Govula, Dr. Shikha Singh, and Dr. Rituja.
“Our goal is to promote education and properly prepare students and professionals for their future development,” said Dr. Adesh Kumar (PT), Director of the UP Physio Network Foundation. “By offering this free course, we aim to engage with the community, empower emerging professionals, and ensure that new physiotherapists enter the field with the strongest possible foundation.”
This 3-month program is being offered entirely free of charge as an NGO initiative. The foundation, which also engages in free health camps and community awareness, sees this as a crucial part of its mission to spread knowledge in health and rehabilitation.
